There were many small car models in the past, but there are far fewer today. These models are still better, with more advanced mechanics, new technology and better equipment.
We still have interesting ideas from top brands for 2022. These cars aren’t new, but they are getting updated every year. This list is for those who are looking for compact or small cars.
HONDA CIVIC
The leather upholstery is of high quality and has soft touch. It also includes a honeycomb mesh that camouflage the air conditioning system vents. The instrument cluster has a virtual screen with a 10.2-inch display and a central touch screen of 9 inches compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The 2022 Civic includes the “Honda Sensing” safety suite, which includes lane departure warning, predictive brake, eight airbags, stability and traction controls, and eight airbags.
The new Civic has three driving modes: Normal, Sport and ECO. The former is aimed at fuel economy, while the Sport mode allows for more forceful acceleration and the Normal mode is intended for daily driving.
MAZDA 3
This model is exteriorly given a Platinum Quartz color and some indicators in the Kodo style language.
Mazda 3 Homura has seven airbags, an ESP, a 360o camera and an intelligent AR SCBS reverse brake. It also includes parking sensors with a rearview cam.
The Homura trim is sporty and features tinted windows, mirrors and alloy wheels in gloss Black (18-inch) and door pillars painted in Piano Black (18-inch). The passenger compartment has heated seats and black upholstery with red stitching.
MINI COOPER
A new redesign features a prominent grille with the same body color. A high-gloss, black trim frame it. To optimize aerodynamics, the fascia has been updated to include cleaner features such as replacing fog lamps with vertical intakes. Only the rear gets a makeover with the sporty bumper decorations.
The MINI Cooper’s three- and five-door versions come with LED headlights and skulls. There is also infotainment with an 8.8 display (updated graphics) and an instrument cluster with a 5.5″ display.
TOYOTA PRIUS
This combination creates the Hybrid Synergy Drive. The 1.8-liter engine is paired with an electric motor with permanent magnetics. This draws energy from a self-charging battery regenerative brake system. The set generates 121 horsepower for the front axle through a planetary gear automated transmission.
The EV mode retains all four driving modes, and a Sport allows you to combine both motors for maximum power whenever needed. The EV mode is powered entirely by electricity and emits no carbon emissions.
NISSAN LEAF
The front features a striking design, where the opaque grill and 3D-looking panel stand out. It has a striking design and provides excellent illumination.
High-quality materials are used to make the seats. The compact’s driving position makes it difficult to see the battery’s location underneath the passenger compartment’s floor.
The equipment level is minimal and does not add weight to the vehicle. You will find heated seats, an electric handbrake and electric windows, a multifunction steering wheel and other driving aids.
TOYOTA COROLLA
Toyota has introduced a new Corolla version for 2022. The new XLE version features equipment such as DLR lights at the headlights, side mirrors with directional, a defroster, and automatic air conditioning.
There are no engine changes. XLE is the version that features the 1.8-liter engine. It has 139 hp and 126 pound-feet of torque.
The 2.0-liter engine produces 169 horsepower and 148 pound-feet. It can also be used with a CVT transmission to drive more powerful variants. Only the SE adds paddle shifters to your steering wheel.
KIA FORTE
The 2022 Hyundai Forte is now in stock in many markets. It has a modern, contemporary look consistent with the brand’s design philosophy.
Mid-life updates include a redesign of the exterior, interior, and side. There are new fascias, new headlights, more modern lighting technology, and different 16 and 17-inch wheels, depending on your version and the most recent logo.
The EX version includes the 4.2-inch color cluster for the instrument cluster and the same 10.25-inch color screen that is also available with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay.
